Super from a partner

Can my husband salary sacrifice into my super account?

Q.

My employer does not allow for salary sacrifice. Can my husband salary sacrifice into my super as well as his own?

A.

He cannot do this, however, once a year he could transfer part of his superannuation to you. Possibly you could put pressure on your employer because it is one benefit an employer can give their staff that does not cost anything.
