Can I withdraw money from my superannuation for a deposit for my home loan?



A.

The only part of your superannuation that can be withdrawn prior to your preservation age is the unrestricted non preserved component. Your fund will be able to advise you if you have any of this but keep in mind that you will pay an exit tax of up to 21.5% on the lump sum if you are under 55.
