m I eligible for the government co-contribution if I salary sacrifice to the SMSF?

Q.

I'm 56 years old and have a SMSF. I'm working part-time as a sole-trader in my own business and will probably be earning $25,000 this financial year. Am I eligible for the government co-contribution if I salary sacrifice to the SMSF?

A.

If you are earning income from your business as appears to be the case, you will qualify for the co contribution.
