Credit card options

Noel Whittaker | October 25 2006 | The Sydney Morning Herald & The Age (subscribe)

Q.

I am 25 and would like to apply for my first credit card. What are my options? My income for financial year 2005/2006 was $13,300 before tax as I spent five months without an income during the last financial year.

A.

Go to www.cannex.com.au where credit cards are compared. if you can pay the balance in full each month, go for the one with the most benefits - if you don't think you will be able to pay it in full, go for the one with the lowest rate.
